Robert (Bob) DeYoung is the Koch Distinguished Professor in Business Economics and the Harold Otto Chair in Economics at the KU School of Business.  Prior to joining the KU faculty in 2007, he held positions at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, and Beloit College.  He was Co-Editor of the Journal of Money, Credit and Banking from 2009 through 2021.  DeYoung is a graduate of Rutgers University-Camden and holds a PhD in economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  He lives on a ranch outside Baldwin City, Kansas with his lovely wife Julie
