What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola? I love that my colleagues care deeply about the world and actively work to make it a better place.

What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee? I have been fortunate to have the opportunity to work, alongside great teams, on some very rewarding initiatives. Ones dear to my heart include the development and launch of LUC's awareness campaign, We Are Called, and serving on the Anti-Racism Council.

What does Loyola's mission mean to you? I am struck by the beauty of cura personalis, not just in how it is applied in teaching, but in how the organization weaves an integrated and equitable approach throughout areas such as public health, environmental sustainability, and racial justice. This way of thinking, and looking at concerns from all angles, enables us to, not only care for the whole person, but the community.

What motivates you to succeed each and every day? I hope that the work that my colleagues and I do will make a difference in our community. But there truly is joy and reward in the actual work we are doing and in collaborating with inspiring colleagues. I enjoy what I do and feel lucky to be motivated by work that is fun and inspiring.

Tell us how you show your Rambler pride: When I see a Loyola ad in a CTA bus stop, hear Loyola underwriting read on NPR, or hit publish on a digital marketing campaign, I know that I share the mission with the world!

Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you: I developed a business incubator that supports women-led businesses. We formed a collective to teach small business owners marketing and business skills, launch and grow startups, and work collectively grow small and emerging businesses.
