What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola? The strong work ethics, collaboration, and comradery of our team. I have the honor of working with colleagues that are both dedicated and fun. I enjoy it each and every day.
What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee? Within the first 6 months of starting at Loyola, I lead my team and rolled out and launched our new online internship database – SONIA. The implementation of SONIA updated a manual process and streamlined our internship processes.
What does Loyola's mission mean to you? Loyola’s mission values faith and spirituality as essential components of education and I appreciate the inclusivity with which Loyola embraces differences in our world.
What motivates you to succeed each and every day? The dedication of Loyola students to their education and to the field of social work.
Tell us how you show your Rambler pride: I attended an Inner-Mission Employee Retreat earlier this year and look forward to attending future retreats. It’s a great opportunity to connect with others at Loyola and reflect on our personal mission.
Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you: My favorite flower is the orchid. They generally bloom once a year and remain in bloom for 6-10 weeks. The orchid requires patience but when they bloom, they are exceptionally beautiful.
