Facility Tours

Videos on the SES YouTube channel provide a look inside our facilities and introductions to our academic programs, research activities, and sustainability initiatives. 

Video tours highlight the following facilities and systems: 

To contribute toward the SES goal of training the next generation of environmental leaders, SES offers educational group tours of our facilities, including the Searle Biodiesel Lab, the Urban Agriculture Program, and our LEED-certified building.

Group Tour Guidelines:

  • Group tours are open to a variety of internal (Loyola-affiliated) and external groups and requests are welcome from high schools, colleges, and community organizations.
  • Tours are best suited for those who are high school age and above.
  • Groups tours should include a minimum of 5 attendees and are best suited for no more than 25.
  • Tours will run approximately one hour in length.
  • Group tours can be scheduled between 10am and 4pm during fall and spring semesters, except for the first and last week of each semester and exam week. Summer tours may be available upon request, and all tours are subject to staff availability. To allow adequate time for scheduling, tour requests should be made at least two weeks in advance.
