Legacy Celebration
Celebrate BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and First Gen experiences of students graduating from Loyola.
For over a decade, the Center for Diversity and Inclusion has formally recognized and celebrated graduating Ramblers during the Legacy Celebration. The 18th Annual Legacy Celebration will commemorate the undergraduate, graduate, and professional students leaving their mark at Loyola and representing communities with storied legacies of strength, perseverance, excellence and diversity.
On Sunday, May 4th at 10 a.m. (Central), we commemorate the experiences focusing on Loyola’s first-generation (first to go to college), Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) scholars, and/or LGBTQIA+ community who are graduating. All Ramblers welcome. Graduating students interested in participating in this storied celebration must:
Deadline to apply will be April 16, 2025.
Graduating students are also encouraged to apply to become a speaker at Legacy! Apply to Speak Here!

All graduation celebrations are open to all Loyola University Chicago student, faculty, and staff regardless of their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic.
