Safe Space Workshops are introductory sessions that work to assist individuals who wish to support the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning, Intersex, and Asexual (LGBTQIA) community of Loyola University Chicago. 

Safe Space Workshops cover the following:

  • Definitions, terms, and symbols
  • LGBTQIA identity development
  • Skills to interrupt heterosexist and cissexist behaviors and attitudes
  • Resources for the LGBTQIA communities

Thursday, February 13th, 5 PM - 7 PM in CLC L09 (Water Tower Campus)Training Open to All

Friday, February 21st, 3 PM - 5 PM in CH 311 (Lakeshore Campus)Training Open to All

Thursday, March 12th, 5 PM - 7 PM in CLC L09 (Water Tower Campus) - Faculty and Staff Training

Friday, April 3rd, 3 PM - 5 PM in CH 311 (Lakeshore Campus) - Student Training
