What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola?
My favorite thing about working at Loyola is having the privilege of being a part of the educational process for so many learners. Knowing that we are helping to educate health care professionals who are very patient-safety minded is very satisfying. Also, the people I work with are great and make coming to work a pleasure.

What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee?
My most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee has been being a part of the development of the Center for Simulation Education. Having the opportunity to bring a vision to fruition was exciting, and the Sim Center has become a remarkable resource for those in the Health Sciences Campus.

What does Loyola's mission mean to you?
Loyola’s mission, which includes seeking God in all things, aligns with my personal values. I understand the role that faith has in my own life, and I bring this to work with me each day.

What motivates you to succeed each and every day?
I am motivated by the belief that my work makes a difference. Preparing healthcare professionals to lead extraordinary lives is a true responsibility, as they may become my healthcare providers or providers for someone I love. Helping them become the best doctors or nurses they can be is highly motivating.

Tell us how you show your Rambler pride.
I think I show my Rambler pride in a variety of ways. I wear my Loyola gear on the weekends, and I started a Christmas tradition with my children where I purchase them new Loyola apparel. I always refer friends and family to the hospital and University.

Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you.
Many people would be surprised to know that at age 50, I can still do a respectable back dive!
