What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola?
There are many things I love about Loyola, and it is hard to pick just one! If I had to choose, it would be the people, the students, staff, faculty, and community members, who make up Loyola. My students in particular inspire me every day with their drive and commitment to Loyola’s mission, alongside their thoughtfulness.

What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee?
I do not have a most memorable achievement, but it’s rather what I hope to continuously work towards. I hope to empower Loyola students and staff members around me to be the best version of themselves and for them to feel significant, appreciated, and an active member of the community.

What does Loyola's mission mean to you?
Loyola’s mission to me means to seek truth and justice in all things, to serve for and with one another, and for our actions to be driven by our commitment to social justice and servant leadership. I most connect with the Jesuit values of contemplatives in action and being able to reflect and put intentional thought into motion.

What motivates you to succeed each and every day?
I think it boils down to internal motivation and trusting I am called to serve a greater purposeparticularly in education.

Tell us how you show your Rambler pride
I think my favorite way I have shown Rambler pride has been in attending Advocate’s Annual Drag Show! It was a fantastic event, and I am very proud of one of my students who was in it!

Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you.
I almost went to Loyola for undergrad! I was enrolled, had a declared major, and even had a roommate. I ended up going to another Jesuit school (Saint Louis University), so being able to work here is a dream come true!
