What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola?  The people.  I work with many talented individuals, both professional and students. The commitment everyone at Loyola shows is amazing.  This is what brings me to work every day.

What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee? It is difficult to pick the most memorable achievement.  I have had several proud moments at Loyola.  I think the most important/proud moment is working with my student staff.  I like to think that I am a positive influence on my students.  Knowing that I am helping them to form into productive adults is a great accomplishments.  Staying in touch with those that have graduated and seeing them grow, start careers and families is an amazing feeling to know that I had a small part in their lives.

What does Loyola's mission mean to you?  I see Loyola’s mission in all parts of my life.  Seeking God in all things is something that directs me every day.  Teaching my children to think of this is important to me.  The Jesuit philosophy towards social justice is another important aspect in my life.

What motivates you to succeed each and every day? My student employees.  Knowing that I am helping them to develop and shape their pathway to adulthood is quite a motivating factor.

Tell us how you show your Rambler pride.  Most of the clothing I own is Loyola apparel.  I think it’s possible that I wear something with Loyola on it every single day.

Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you.  I have an undergraduate degree in Forestry.  As a forestry student I competed in Lumberjack Games in both sawing events and tree identification. Trees and the Outdoors are my life outside of Loyola.
