What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola?

My favorite part of working at Loyola is the people I work with as well as the beautiful campuses. I have known special people here for many years and have built compassionate, loyal relationships. Celebrating the First-Year Student Family Mass at the Madonna della Strada Chapel with my Rambler son, my wife, and the people of Loyola was one of the most special events that I will cherish.

What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee?

I have many memorable personal achievements throughout the years; however, I would like to highlight the accomplishments of our talented Technology Team in supporting our remote users throughout the pandemic. Our capabilities and services evolved to keep our remote faculty, staff and students working while ensuring Loyola’s commitment to higher education going.

What does Loyola's mission mean to you?

I am proud to work for a Jesuit University with the same values as my Catholic faith. My mother taught me to see the good in people, stay compassionate, and keep my faith strong. I am happy that I can show my Catholic faith both at home and at work.

What motivates you to succeed each and every day?

I take pride in my work and enjoy working, supporting, and serving our Loyola community.  Our Information Technologies Divisions motto. Go the extra mile!  I strive to follow that standard daily in my interactions to serve the technology needs of our faculty, staff and students. Collaborating with our talented leaders and teammates on a daily basis makes each day enjoyable.

Tell us how you show your Rambler pride:

I wear my favorite maroon and gold Rambler Spirit-wear and proudly display my Sister-Jean bobble-head in my family room.  We feel like we have a piece of her kind, and gentle heart in our home.  She was our lucky charm when we watched the NCAA Tournament Rambler games.

Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you:

I grew up playing the clarinet and saxophone.  I took private lessons from a Jazz Professor of the Conservatory of Music.  I also joined my brothers in our family band and performed for many events throughout my childhood. I performed publicly as early as 9 years old helping families celebrate sacraments and anniversaries.
