Victoria O'Dea

Doctoral Student and Instructor of Record

About

Victoria O'Dea is a second-year PhD student focusing on modern and contemporary literature and culture. Her research centers around the intersections and liminal spaces that make up the subtext of our modern lives. As an instructor, Victoria adopts a student-focused and process-oriented approach to teaching writing. Her goal is to dispel common misconceptions about the writing process and to equip students with a variety of skills that will help them continue to grow as writers throughout their time in college and beyond. Ultimately, Victoria hopes to help her students become confident writers who can effectively and persuasively communicate their own brilliant ideas.
