About

Amanda Kraus graduated from Northeastern Illinois University with an MA in Linguistics with a focus on teaching/TESOL. In addition to teaching at Loyola, she has taught at a wide range of Chicago institutions, including Truman College, Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), Association House, and a longtime assistant professorship at St. Augustine College. She has developed and taught a variety of classes including but not limited to adult ESL, public speaking, music appreciation, and composition/research writing. Summers will find her volunteering for Girls Rock! Chicago as a drum instructor and playing music as much as possible.
