About

Professor Ann Ledford earned her Master’s Degree of Science in English Literature and Composition from Illinois State University in 2019. She teaches University Core Writing and Research, and English Composition 102 as an adjunct at both Loyola University and Oakton Community College, respectively.

Her main research interests include Feminist and Psychoanalytical Theory and the study of feminine ethics of care in both fictional and real worlds. Her favorite genres to read include fantasy and young adult literature and the works of J.R.R. Tolkien.

In her spare time, Professor Ledford can be found reading, spending time with her husband and their dog, Moses, swimming recreationally, hiking mountain trails, cooking new recipes, and consuming copious amounts of candy.
