About

I have been teaching in higher education for over 30 years. My areas of specialization are composition, poetry and fiction. Additionally, I'm the author of two books of poetry. I believe my job is to help students discover effective tools for writing, reading and thinking. In creating a supportive and encouraging classroom for all students, I can encourage risk taking, confidence and the development of life-long skills.
