About

I am a former US Army Paratrooper who has taught developmental writing for many years. I spent 2019-2022 teaching English composition in Bologna, Italy at a Liceo Malpighi and CIELS Universita Bologna. I have published four novels and numerous essays. I also edit a bi-annual literary journal especially reserved for combat veterans called AS YOU WERE (militaryexperience.org). I am currently working on a memoir about grief and love in COVID Italy.
