About
Margaret Hawkins is a writer, critic and teacher. Her third novel (Lydia's Party) was published by PenguinRandomHouse. She is the author of a memoir about family mental illness (How We Got Barb Back) and currently writes columns for Visual Art Source and The Democracy Chain, two online publications that cover contemporary art and social issues. Her work appears in many other publications, most recently in The Missouri Review (fiction) and The Perch, from Yale (essay.)
