Web Design and Development

The 3-course Web Design and Development Certificate equips students with the marketable skillset needed to design and develop websites and web applications for today’s marketplace. Using WordPress, students will learn about the design and accessibility of websites using a JavaScript-based programming stack for web development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript/React or similar JavasScript framework).

Upon successful completion of the program, students will have the skills needed to seek out entry-level and freelance positions in web design and development roles.

This certificate can be taken as a stand-alone or in partnership with an SCPS degree. Students can start the program in August each year.
