Master of Arts: The MA in Spirituality, offered by Loyola's Institute of Pastoral Studies (IPS), offers concentrations in Spiritual Direction and Contemporary Spirituality. Students may complete all or part of the 36-hour degree program through online courses. The structured online curriculum emphasizes five areas of study: foundations of spirituality, biblical foundations, theological foundations, psychological foundations, and practical field experience.
