Parent and Family Advisory Council

The Parent and Family Advisory Council (PFAC) meets with the Vice President for Student Development and other university staff to share their experiences as family members of current LUC students. An emphasis is placed on learning about their experiences supporting their students’ academic pursuits, engagement in co-curricular experiences, and wellbeing. Members give feedback on new university initiatives, as well as existing departments, programs, and communication channels. The inaugural PFAC started meeting in the fall semester of 2022.
Directly following Family Weekend 2023, we will share information about the application process for members of the PFAC in the 2023 – 2024 academic year. Information will be posted on this website and in the Rambler Families email newsletter. Membership is not restricted to family members of undergraduate students, or to parents of current students (other family members are welcome to apply).
