Student Development Fee for Undergraduate Students

The Student Development Fee, also known as Student Development Services and Program Fees, are charged by the Division of Student Development during the Fall and Spring semester to all undergraduates. This fee funds the following services and programs: Wellness Center, Halas Recreation Center membership*, 8-RIDE service and partially, the shuttle bus service. This fee also allows undergraduate students free access to Athletic events. A portion of the fee is given back to students in the form of funding for clubs and organizations. In addition, the fee funds a few large-scale events organized by students and administrators. Welcome Week, Finals Breakfast, Block Party, and diversity programs are just a few of the events and programs that are funded by this fee. The amount of the fee depends on the number of credit hours in which students are enrolled. *Only full-time students receive a free membership.

The Student Development Fee is charged during the summer to all undergraduate students. It provides students free access to services at the Wellness Center and Halas Recreation Center during the summer semester.

Student Development Fee for Adult, Graduate and Professional Students*

The Student Development Fee is charged during the Fall and Spring semester to all graduate students. This fee funds the following services and programs: Wellness Services at the respective campus, 8-RIDE service and partially, the shuttle bus service. A portion of the fee goes to the school the student is enrolled in, to fund various student activities. In addition, the fee funds a few large-scale events organized by the office of Graduate, Professional and Adult Student Life. The amount of the fee depends on the number of credit hours in which students are enrolled. Graduate students enrolled in hybrid/blended** programs are charged a fee that supports events in their respective school. Students enrolled in hybrid/blended programs can receive access to wellness services by signing up for an optional wellness fee. Wellness Center Optional Enrollment

Graduate students enrolled in on-line** programs are not charged the Student Development Fee. Students enrolled in on-line programs can receive access to wellness services by signing up for an optional wellness fee. Wellness Center Optional Enrollment
