Hazing Prevention Week

National Hazing Prevention Week is an opportunity for Loyola University Chicago and its affiliate organizations and individuals to come together to raise awareness about the problems of hazing, promote the prevention of hazing, and come together to create a community of care. This week typically occurs during the third week of September in conjunction with National Hazing Prevention Week.

Greek Standards and Assessment Program (GSAP)

The Greek Standard & Assessment Program (GSAP) is an assessment tool that has been implemented in the Sorority & Fraternity Life community at Loyola University Chicago. The assessment examines each organization's involvement and performance in six areas including:

  • Academic Excellence
  • Chapter Management
  • Civic Engagement
  • Collaborations & Alumni Engagement
  • Leadership & Personal Development
  • SFL Community Expectations

At the conclusion of every semester, each organization's GSAP portfolio is reviewed based on various criteria. Chapters are then designated as Exceed Expectations, Meet Expectations, or Needs Improvement status.  For top GSAP scores, chapters are awarded as "Chapters of Excellence" at the annual Sorority & Fraternity Life Awards that take place each Spring semester.

Sorority and Fraternity Life Award Recipients

Sorority & Fraternity Life Awards take place once every Spring semester. Chapters are recognized through individual and chapter awards as well as designated as "Chapters of Excellence". Please see list below of our recognized chapters:
