Start the Fire 2013

The Start the Fire: Pre-Fall Program provides incoming Loyola students a unique opportunity to establish meaningful relationships with peers, faculty, and staff prior to the start of classes.

Through these experiences, participants explore a variety of issues including but not limited to: academic success, cultural awareness, outdoor education, leadership development, service, social justice, and spirituality/faith formation, while also developing a deeper understanding of Loyola’s Jesuit tradition and mission.

The Pre-Fall Programs will allow students to start their transition to Loyola with their peers while having a fun time—whether it be at a comedy show, a service site, backpacking through the wilderness, or participating on a challenge course.‌ ‌
