Dear Ramblers and the Loyola Community,
St. Ignatius of Loyola, the founder of the Jesuits, encouraged women and men to look within their hearts and to pay attention to their deepest desires and lonings. Ignatius taught that the voice of God could be heard within these movements of the heart. The Jesuit education tradition invites students of all faiths to make time for quiet prayer, to reflect on their experience of God's movement in their lives, to join others in communal prayer, and to serve others with love and compassion. Campus Ministry provides programs and activities that aid students in coming to a deeper awareness of their God-given gifts and invites them to consider how they might live those gifts in the service of others.
I invite you to learn more about the involvement opportunities and resources offered by each department. The Campus Ministry main office is located in the Damen Student Center, Suite 217, and is open from 8:30 A.M. - 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday. Please do not hesitate to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or (773) 508-2200 if we can be of assistance to you.
