Description:  This course covers the basics of applied statistics including descriptive statistics and visualization (including graphing), univariate methods, inference, hypothesis testing and confidence intervals, two-sample and paired analyses, simple and multiple linear regression, ANOVA and logistic regression. The course introduces and uses the R freeware package, providing students the means to analyze textbook and real-life data sets.
