Credit Hours: | 3 |
Prerequisites: | MATH 266 Linear Algebra and Differential Equations or (MATH 264 Ordinary Differential Equations and MATH 212 Linear Algebra) |
Description: Modeling, analysis, and prediction of short-term and asymptotic behavior of dynamical systems is studied. Continuous-time and discrete-time dynamical systems are considered, and modeled by differential and difference equations, respectively. Motivation comes from biological, chemical, mechanical, and engineering systems. Students will learn how to model dynamical systems and predict their behavior. |
