The budget includes the operating budget for SGLC and money that is distributed to student organizations through the Student Activities Fund.
The General Fund:
The allocated money for the general fund is divided into each branch of the organization. Each committee is designated funds for events and other actions. The Judicial branch is also given a budget to use at their discretion. The Executive Branch uses the fund for various development tasks, such as marketing and the Campus Activities Network (CAN).
Many positions within SGLC receive a scholarship based on their time and commitment to serving the student body.
The Student Activity Fund:
This budget is allocated to Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) to assist with events and projects.
The Green Initiative Fund:
A fund from students, for students to enable projects that expand environmental and global consciousness as well as impact sustainable behaviors on campus.
