Quick Guide: Billing & Payment
Choose from the options below for a quick review of how to check your balance (billing) or instructions for making a payment. Remember that all bill history and online payment options are housed in LOCUS (Loyola's Online Connection to University Services).
Loyola generates electronic bills (e-Bills) every month for student accounts that have balances. These bills are a snapshot of how the account appears on the day the bill was generated, and will not update until the next month.
Accessing e-Bills:
- Login to your LOCUS account at: www.luc.edu/locus.
- Click on Campus Finances.
- Click on View e-Bill(s) to view the Student e-Bill History page.
- Click on View Detail next to any of the months listed to view that month's e-Bill.
- The total amount due and due date will be displayed near the top right of the page.
To access a real-time view of your financial account, you should look at the Account Summary by Term page. We recommend looking at this page if you are viewing your account near the beginning/end of the month.
Accessing Account Summary:
- Login to your LOCUS account at: www.luc.edu/locus.
- Click on Campus Finances.
- Click on Account Summary By Term.
- Click on the semester/year for which you'd like to see account information.
- The term balance will be displayed at the bottom of the page.

Once you have determined the amount due on your account, you can make a payment through a variety of methods:
- E-Check: E-Check payments can be made through LOCUS by selecting the "Make A Payment" link from the original Campus Finances menu or the yellow button on the View e-Bill(s) page. Simply type in your payment amount, select "Electronic Check" and use an existing bank account profile or create a new one.
- Mail-in-Check: When looking at your e-Bill in LOCUS, click the yellow "Payment Coupon" button. This will create a printable document that contains important account information and has the address for where to mail the payment. This coupon should be included along with your check for payment.
- Credit Card: Credit card payments can be made through LOCUS by selecting the "Make A Payment" link from the original Campus Finances menu or the yellow button on the View e-Bill(s) page. Simply type in your payment amount, select "Credit Card." You will be re-directed to the TouchNet PayPath homepage and can complete the transaction. PLEASE NOTE: When paying with a credit card, a non-refundable 2.95% service fee is charged.
