What prompted you to pursue your field?

During the past 11 years, I have transitioned from adjunct faculty, to full time, and back to adjunct, but virtual. When I started teaching, it was my opportunity to "give back" to share my extensive experience in healthcare administration with the next generation.

Why is this area of study important at this point in time?

In today's chaotic world, health care, including public health, has taken on new meaning and efforts to provide quality health care to any population have encountered new challenges. Working with students to get through this maze is a learning opportunity for students as well as for me as a seasoned professional.
