Part-Time Instructor, Healthcare Administration

Lake Shore Campus

Contact
  • I am an adjunct faculty member at Loyola, specifically instructing our Healthcare Administration seniors in their spring internships. While I have a finance degree from Northern Illinois University and have my CPA, my roughly twenty years at Baxter Healthcare, supporting distribution, manufacturing, and health sciences research solidified my passion to the healthcare industry. I'm a mom of four ,and even with our Chicago weather ups and downs, I prefer to be outside whenever possible!

    Education
    • BS in Finance, Northern Illinois University
    • MBA in Strategic Leadership and Management, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign

What's it like to teach at Parkinson?

It’s exciting! I start with our seniors who are just starting to think about life after college. They can't wait to get into their careers and our internships provide great exposure. I try to understand where each student is at in their job or graduate program search and am so fortunate to be part of the growth that they experience.

What called you to or attracted you to Loyola?

My favorite part about Parkinson has been the people. I have always felt supported and when we have new ideas, the team is always receptive and wanting to innovate.
