In 2012-2013, SGLC, in partnership with the Student Environmental Alliance (SEA), the Director of Sustainability, the Department of Residence Life, and Facilities to eliminate the sale of bottled water in campus stores, in Loyola vending machines, and through Loyola catering services under the pretense that safe and accessible water is a fundamental human right and must not be handled in ways that put profits over people.
