Minor in Theatre
The Minor in Theatre cultivates foundational knowledge in theatrical literature, performance, design, and technology, with room for at least three elective courses for advanced exploration or specific topics.
Learning Outcomes
Students completing the Minor in Theatre will:
- Develop an understanding of dramatic and structural composition
- Demonstrate how set, costumes, and lighting are used as tools for expression
- Analyze a play with character in mind, develop relationships with fellow actors on stage, and play clear and effective character objectives
- Gain hands-on production experience
