Violations and Fees

 

  1. Parking in an Aisle: $20.00
  2. Parking Without a Valid Permit: $55.00
  3. Unauthorized, Altered, or False Permit: $75.00
  4. Blocking/Obstructing Traffic Lanes, Service Areas: $60.00
  5. Blocking Fire Lanes or Fire Hydrants: $120.00
  6. Parking On or Over the Line, or in Two Spaces: $40.00
  7. Handicapped Space Violation: $150.00
  8. Parking in Violation of a Sign: $40.00
  9. Parking next to a Yellow Curb: $40.00
  10. Parking in a Non-Designated Space: $40.00
  11. No Parking/Standing on University streets: $30.00
  12. Parking at Shuttle Bus Stop: $60.00
  13. Damage to University Property: $75.00 plus damages 
  14. Parking or driving on grass or sidewalks: $60.00
  15. Failure to properly display permit: $30.00
  16. Other: $40.00 min. 
  17. Towing: Fees are set by the towing company.

 

Students who receive a citation will have fourteen business days from issue date on the citation to pay the fine or appeal the violation. If no action is taken within this period of time, the ticket holder may become responsible for additional late fees or towing that may result. Loyola parking permit holders with two or more outstanding parking tickets will automatically lose their parking privileges. All outstanding fines must be paid prior to registering for a permit for the next academic semester. Graduating students must pay all outstanding fines prior to graduation or transcripts will be withheld.

Staff and Faculty members who receive a citation will have fourteen business days from the issue date on the citation to pay the fine or appeal the violation. Continual or flagrant disregard of University parking regulations may result in disciplinary action and/or loss of parking privileges.
