Leslie Linke: MUND 1977 BA in Communication Disorders, NIU 1983 MA Communication Disorders

“I am honored to serve on the Mundelein College Alumnae Board. I enjoy working with the other board members to help keep the Mundelein spirit alive by respecting the history of Mundelein College and to supporting our connection to Loyola University and the Gannon Scholars.”

Leslie has served on the Mundelein Alumnae Board for over 10 years. She is a retired Speech Language Pathologist who has worked in the Chicago Public Schools (25 years) and at Evanston Township High School (10 years). She has supervised numerous SLP graduate students from area universities through her career. Leslie has also worked and continues to work in skilled care facilities treating the elderly.

Leslie is a very committed volunteer in activities that include singing in the choir and active involvement in her parish, St. Vincent de Paul in Lincoln Park, LifeSource Blood Services, and Little Brothers, Friends of the Elderly. Leslie lives in the Avondale area in Chicago with her husband, artist and musician Othello Anderson. They enjoy going to the opera, symphony, Shakespeare, and musical performances. They travel extensively, especially driving trips and trips to Europe to visit family.
