Browse the Labster catalog of simulations (no login needed). For each simulation, the Labster catalog includes learning objectives, screenshots from the simulation, a list of the laboratory techniques students will use to complete the simulation, and a brief narrative description of the simulation.
To request Labster simulations for your Sakai course, please complete the Labster request form. Login to luc.saasit.com and select Make a Request; then, search for "Labster."
Please allow at least two weeks of lead time for ITRS staff to fulfill your request.
Instructors utilizing Labster are encouraged to attend an Introduction to Labster training session (offered periodically; see the ITS Academic Continuity Resources page for the training schedule) or to schedule a private or small group consultation with ITRS staff. To request a private or small group consultation held via Zoom, please contact the ITS Service Desk (ITSServiceDesk@luc.edu), detailing a few days and times that you are available for a 30-minute appointment.

Yes! To preview any Labster simulations (without committing to using Labster in any course), contact the ITS Service Desk. ITRS Staff will provide you with a private URL where you may play through any simulation in the Labster catalog.
Labster simulations can only be used on laptop or desktop computers which meet the following requirements:
- Processor: Dual-core 2 GHz or higher
- Memory: 4 GB or more
- Graphics card: Intel HD 3000 / GeForce 6800 GT / Radeon X700 or higher
- OS: Latest version of Windows (64-bit) or Mac OS or ChromeOS (limited support for Chromebooks)
- Supported browsers: Latest version of Firefox and Chrome
- A stable internet connection
