Return Date for Rest-of-Semester Extended Loan
April 7th, 2020
Equipment returns after campus buildings re-open: All rest-of-semester loans have an inital return date scheduled for Monday, May 4th by 4pm. Provided equipment is returned in-full and satisfactory condition no later than Friday, May 8th by 4pm, any late fines that may be incurred will be waived. This date was selected as it is after the spring semester concludes, and currently after the Illinois Govenor's 'stay-at-home' executive order concludes after April 30th.
Nevertheless, we are constantly monitoring University and state/city official communications should this be extended. In the event the 'stay-at-home' order is extended, and/or the University indicates campus buildings access will remain unavailable after May 4th, we will communicate as soon as possible to everyone with active loans indicating an updated/later due date and time once we're able to or estimate our ability to return to campus.
Stay safe and healthy!
