Technology Roadmap - New Students

Before you can hit the road to college success with technology, you need to log in.  It will tell you how to change your password, Log into LOCUS, get your official Loyola email, and find out how the ITS (Information Technology Services) Help Desk can assist you in the process.

Stage No. 1



  • Your Loyola Universal is unique to you.
  • Your UVID and password provides you with a single source sign-on to university applications, access to university computers and resources.
  • Password self-service  will allow you to reset your password, unlock your account, and setup your personal security questions.




  • All official University communications will be sent to your Loyola email address.
  • Outlook is the email and calendar client included with the Microsoft Office suite of programs. It can be used to send and receive email messages, schedule meetings, manage contacts and tasks, and much more.

  • The ITS Help Desk department provides the University with a single point of access for technology support.
  • To contact the ITS Help Desk by phone, dial 773.508.4ITS (773.508.4487).
  • To submit a request for service or support, send an e-mail to helpdesk@luc.edu.
  • For any additional questions, contact the ITS Helpdesk during normal business hours.
