Instructor of Statistics
Background: Loyola University Chicago, College of Arts and Sciences, Department of Mathematics and Statistics invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track, three-year renewable position at the rank of Instructor of Statistics beginning fall 2013. The department has undergraduate degree programs in statistics, biostatistics, actuarial science, and an applied statistics masters program. Duties and Responsibilities: Instructors are expected to teach introductory statistics courses as well as courses in our statistics degree programs. Instructors are also invited to perform service at the department, college, and university levels.
Minimum Qualifications: The successful applicant will have a Ph.D. degree in Statistics or a related field and a strong commitment to excellence and innovation in teaching at all levels.
