Campus Safety is writing to inform you that shots were fired around 2:30 p.m. this afternoon on Winthrop between Granville and Glenlake near the Lake Shore Campus. At this time, no one is reported injured.

A maroon van was seen fleeing the area heading northbound on Sheridan. Campus Safety is working closely with the Chicago Police Department on this investigation.
