Cameron is a graduate student counselor at the Wellness Center. She is currently a second year in Loyola’s Clinical Psychology PhD program. Her research focuses on the implementation of interventions in schools and community settings to improve youth mental health. She is particularly interested in working with marginalized youth and their families who have experienced or are experiencing trauma and adversity. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in public health at Boston University. Cameron approaches therapeutic care using evidence-based practices and strives to create a culturally responsive, identity-inclusive environment to help clients reach their goals.
