Olivia Lashley is a graduate student counselor at the Wellness Center. She is currently training to become a Clinical Psychologist through Loyola University Chicago’s Clinical Psychology PhD program. Her research focuses on social support, family systems, trauma, and coping, particularly in the context of foster care and childhood maltreatment. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon, studying psychology, Spanish, and women’s, gender, and sexuality studies. Olivia approaches her practice through a strengths based, intersectional, and culturally responsive lens. She aims to create a compassionate and nonjudgmental environment, utilizing evidence-based practices to help clients reach their therapeutic goals.
