Susan Slepski is a social work intern in her second year at Loyola's Online Master's of Social Work Program. Earlier this spring, she completed her first level internship at Chicago Lights Social Service Center, providing case management to participants. Previously, Susan had administrative positions in not-for-profit, healthcare, banking, law, and accounting. She earned her undergraduate degree in English from DePaul University and a Paralegal Certificate from Roosevelt University. Her clinical interests include trauma-informed management of mood, personality, and dissociative disorders as well as toxic shame research. For self-care, Susan creates mixed media artwork, reads voraciously, explores new restaurants, and watches multiple genre documentaries.
