Following is a selection of the most used digital collections created by the Loyola Archives and Special Collections. This list is not all-inclusive.

Course Catalogs

This digital collection includes course catalogs and bulletins of St. Ignatius College and Loyola University Chicago from 1870 to 2002. Included are course catalogs for the College of Arts and Sciences, School of Social Work, Stritch School of Medicine, Niehoff School of Nursing, Chicago College of Dental Surgery, School of Law, School of Business Administration, School of Education, Institute of Pastoral Studies, and the Graduate School.

Not all course catalogs are digitaized. The University Archives does not hold complete runs of catalogs so some years may be missing.

Commencement Programs

This digital collection contains commencement programs from 1898 to present day. These programs list graduates, university administration, and speakers.

This digital collection includes documents from university records that tell the story of Loyola University Chicago's development. The first college library catalog and unpublished histories can be found here.

Newsletters

This digital collection contains newsletters from departments, student organizations, and the broader University. There are gaps in the University Archives newsletters collection so some issues may be missing.

Digitization of newsletters is an on-going project.

Loyola Oral Histories

Two oral history projects were conducted documenting the history of Loyola University Chicago - the Loyola Faculty and Staff Oral History Project and the Loyola University Chicago Oral History Project. This digital collection contains these oral history interviews.

Not all interviews are available online as digitization and transcription of oral history interviews are ongoing.

Photographs documenting the people, places, and events at Loyola University Chicago can be found throughout many collections at the University Archives. This digital collection represents a small fraction of photographs in the collection.
