Connecting to LUC-TV-Printer-Games-Misc network on Google Pixel Devices

To connect to LUC-TV-Printer-Games-Misc wireless network properly, follow the directions below:

Find your phones wireless MAC address. Follow these instructions to do so.

Navigate to Settings > System settings > About phone

From About phone, view the Wi-Fi MAC address. Note the device MAC address, you will need it later to register your phone. (The MAC address visible below is just an example).

 The next step is to make sure you forget all LUC networks (this includes LUC, LUC-Guest, and LUC-TV-Printers-Games-Misc). You then need to disable "random mac address" for LUC-TV-Printers SSID. Follow these instructions to do so.

  • Open the Settings app
  • Select Network and Internet
  • Select WiFi
  • Connect to the LUC-TV-Printers-Games-Misc Wireless network
  • Tap the gear icon next to the current connection
  • Select Advanced
  • Select Privacy
  • Select "Use device MAC"

After connecting to LUC-TV-Printers-Games-Misc wireless, open up a web browser and go to the following sites depending on your campus:

LSC: netreg1.luc.edu
WTC: netreg2.luc.edu
HSC: netreg3.luc.edu

Here you will tap the link to Register your “incompatible device”. One the next page you will put in your UVID, password, and your device’s MAC address. (The MAC address visible below is just an example). Once you tap the Register button, you will be taken to another registration page where a timer will count down. Once the timer has counted down, you will then be registered and able to use LUC-TV-Printers-Games-Misc to access the internet.
