Students and faculty of the Graduate School who wish to publicize university news, such as upcoming deadlines, events, conferences, internships, and other academic opportunities based on LUC campuses can send this information to the Graduate School to be included in the weekly announcements sent out through the graduate student listserv. GSAs often feature news sent from LUC departments, entities, and groups that are of interest to the graduate student community and also represents a critical source of news, information, and assistance regarding upcoming workshops and Key Dates and Deadlines relating to progress to degree, graduation, and commencement.
In the email to firstname.lastname@example.org, provide the following details, when relevant: announcement content, time of event or deadline, other event details such as location, and a name, role, and contact information for the contact person. This content and information to be included can be sent as text or in poster form as a pdf. Before sending, check that all URLs included are stable and that any accompanying photos are resized to 450 x 532.
When seeking to advertise a position, please list an end date for running the announcement in the body of the email so that staff can pull it once it is obsolete. Similarly, if you wish to extend a deadline for an announcement, send another email stating this change and providing any updated information for inclusion in the next GSA.
For inclusion in the week's GSA, send announcements to the email address above no later than 5pm on Friday afternoon.
