As of 1/1, recreational marijuana use is now legal in Illinois for people over 21. However, marijuana use and possession is still illegal at Loyola due to federal law, and students of any age are not permitted to use marijuana products. The Body Project focuses on positive body image. It is an interactive, two session workshop that is designed to challenge the thin ideal and help improve body satisfaction for female-identified students. The Body Project workshops are led by trained student leaders at Loyola who are passionate about promoting positive body image. The workshops are held in 2 two hour sessions a week apart.
