Aetna Network Negotiations With Trinity Health

Aetna is currently in contract renewal negotiations with Trinity Health's National Network. The Trinity network includes the Loyola University Medical Center and over 100+ hospitals nationwide. For more information regarding these negotiations please click "learn more".

Chicago Paid Leave and Paid Sick and Safe Leave Ordinance

Effective July 1, 2024, Loyola University Chicago has updated the sick leave policy and created a new Chicago Paid Leave Ordinance policy to accommodate the new Chicago Paid Leave and Paid Sick and Safe Leave Ordinance. This Chicago Paid Leave and Paid Sick and Safe Leave ordinance affects different types of employees differently. A FAQ resource has been developed to better understand this ordinance and impact.

First Stop Health

Mental health and wellbeing is important. Faculty and Staff have access to First Stop Health’s (FSH) Virtual Counseling solution. The resource offers eligible colleagues and their family members 24/7 access to short-term, solution-focused counseling via app, web or phone. Plus, there is zero cost for the benefit. Use the FSH mobile app, online dashboard, or call 888-691-7867 to request a counseling visit. Visits can be completed by phone or video.
