Benefit Express is now WEX Health Inc. Effective June 15, Benefit Express will transition their company name to WEX Health Inc or simply WEX. WEX Health acquired Benefit Express in 2021. You may have noticed a small change to their logo, your Debit card or email addresses if you receive notifications relating to your transit or flexible spending accounts. This brand change will not affect the loyolaexpress.com portal you currently utilize to access your FSA related accounts. FSA/DCFSA/TRANSIT Reimbursement Portal Update & New WEX Visa Debit Cards
On January 1, 2022 benefitexpress, a WEX Company transitioned to the WEX Health reimbursement portal. Reimbursement plan participants, have 24/7 access to view information and manage both 2021 and 2022 reimbursement accounts as you always have at www.LoyolaExpress.com. Additionally, new Visa branded WEX debit cards were mailed on January 4, 2022 for use beginning January of 2022. READ MORE -
First Stop Health’s NEW Virtual Counseling benefit begins April 1st
Starting April 1, faculty and staff will have access to First Stop Health’s (FSH) Virtual Counseling solution. This resource offers faculty and staff, and their family members 24/7 access to short-term, solution-focused counseling via app, web or phone. Plus, there is zero cost for faculty and staff, and their family members to access this care. Use the FSH mobile app, online dashboard, or call 888-691-7867 to request your counseling visit. Wellness Program Rewards ($75)
The Wellness Program offers incentives to help you reach optimum health. Earn periodic Wellness Rewards—bonus money in your paychecks for every period that you complete the requirements. You can earn up to $300 annually ($75 per period) if you earn 125 points by the period deadline. The Wellness Program is open to all benefit-eligible employees, even if you do not have health insurance through Loyola. On a periodic basis, 125 wellness points can be entered on the Health Maintenance Institute (HMI) website in order to earn a $75 wellness reward in your paycheck. LEARN MORE -
Loyola’s Medical Plan to cover at-home COVID-19 Tests
Free, at-home COVID-19 tests are available to Loyola University Chicago faculty and staff through two new federal programs. Every household in the United States is eligible to order four free, at-home COVID-19 tests through a new government website: https://www.covidtests.gov/. Orders will usually ship in 7-12 days. Additionally, on January 10, 2022, the U.S. Department of Labor released guidance to implement President Joe Biden's order that, starting January 15, health plans must cover or reimburse costs for over-the-counter (OTC) at-home rapid COVID-19 tests without requiring health plan participants to pay any of the cost.
