Description

Anti-Nepotism

Policy that prohibits favoritism, the appearance of or potential for favoritism, and conflicts of interest and loyalty often associate with nepotism.

Code of Conduct

Describes the ethical & professional standards in which the University and each community member must transact University business.

Conflict of Interest

Defines the principles and procedures to assure that individuals’ primary commitments to the university and the objective performance of their professional responsibilities are not adversely affected by external commitments and financial interests.

Drug and Alcohol Abuse

Describes the university's standards of conduct related to prescription drugs, illegal drugs and alcohol.

Employee Relations

Describes commitment to develop and maintain policies and procedures that strive for excellence and help create a positive work environment.

Employment Review Period

Describes the 90-day employment review-period in order to evaluate the feasibility of continued employment.

Fitness for Duty

Flexible Work Schedule

Authorizes individual departments to implement flexible work schedules to meet business needs and personal needs of the employee.

General Leave of Absence and Family/Medical Leave Act

Provides guidelines related to the eligibility and utilization of a general leave or Family/Medical Leave.

Holiday Policy

Establishes guidelines regarding the eligibility and use of paid holidays provided to regular, full-time staff members.

Licensee Code of Conduct

This policy recognizes the educational import of the manner in which the University conducts its business relationships and aspires to align the University’s transactions with the values of its Jesuit Catholic mission.

Long Term Disability

Describes eligibility and utilization of long-term disability program.

Nonsmoking Policy

Policy prohibits smoking within in all enclosed, University facilities, and no one may smoke within 15 feet of any entrance to a building.

Overtime/Compensation

Describes compensation of non-exempt employees who work over 40 hours in a week in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Paid Parental Leave Policy

Describes guidelines regarding the eligibility and use of parental leave for the birth, adoption, and foster placement of a child.
