What attracted you to Loyola:
The students I met at Loyola exhibited the dedication and intellect I was looking for in peers. They are passionate about the study and practice of law and that passion translates into a positive learning experience for every student. In addition, I felt that the faculty and staff wants the students to succeed and would equip them appropriately for challenges they would face as students and lawyers.

What is the greatest learning experience you have had at Loyola:
During tort class in our first week, a particularly heated discussion about sex offender registries took place. Our professor cut the debate short, but offered to stay after and foster the discussion. The discussion lasted hours and continued even after we left the classroom. I was amazed by the intellectual prowess and life experiences of so many of my classmates and quickly learned that I had as much to learn from them as from my textbooks.

Who inspires you and Why:
My Grandmother has owned and operated her own business for over 40 years while raising three children and being a pillar of her community. She has eschewed stereotypes and exemplified the idiom: hard work begets success.

Extracurricular Activities Hobbies and Interests:
I have worked for Miller Law Office over the summer as an undergraduate. I am looking forward to become more involved in Loyola's extracurricular activities in the coming semester.

Community service or other volunteer activities:
I have volunteered for 321, national a non-profit tutoring organization for grade school and high school students.

Area of legal interest and or your intended practice area upon graduation:
I hope to go into litigation in the area of Child and Family Law.
