Matlab

The university has a campus-wide license for MATLAB that is held by the STEM program. The software is available to all LUC students, faculty, and staff via a download to university desktop computers, personal computers, or iOS/Android devices and via the MATLAB cloud service, Apporto, and all open access LUC student labs.

The ITS Desktop Services group manages the Loyola University Chicago MATLAB Portal that allows users to download the software to personal machines or university office desktops.

End-user support for the software is provided via MATLAB online resources.

Note: If you are planning to use MATLAB for extremely large data sets you should contact Research Computing Services to access high performance computing resources.

Remote Access - Online Web Browser-Base Available to students, faculty, and staff via instructions on the ITS Matlab Page.
Remote Access - Mobile App iOS or Android Available to students, faculty, and staff  via instructions on the ITS Matlab Page.
Remote Access - Apporto Available via the Apporto on the General Lab Desktop.
 Remote Access - VPN Available to faculty and staff who are remotely connecting to their LUC desktop.
