RStudio is a free integrated development environment (IDE) for R. It inclues a console, syntax-highlighting editor, and tools for plotting, history, debugging and workspace management.

Install on Personal Computer Available for anyone to download for no charge via the R Studio web page - choose R Studio Desktop.
Remote Access - Apporto Available via the Apporto General Lab Desktop to students and faculty.
Remote Access - VPN Available to faculty who are remotely connecting to their LUC desktop and have requested an install of the software.

Support for R Studio

  • To report issues with R Studio in computer labs or on faculty/staff desktops, contact the ITS Service Desk at ITSServiceDesk@luc.edu.
  • ITRS provides  throughout the academic year; support for RStudio is limited to the current adviser's knowledge of the software.
